The application has some errors and doesn't run in Ubuntu Karmic (I've installed all the dependencies), both the stable and the hg repository version. I get a constant "no urls in the links.txt". I run "python module/web/manage.py syncdb" like stated in the HG version but still getting that error.
I've found a .deb file on the website, but that doesn't work and has a lot of errors too, like the Desktop file is only in German and links to /usr/bin/pyLoadGui while the executable name is pyLoadGUI, even the /usr/bin/pyLoadGUI file links to pyLoadGui.py which should be pyLoadGUI.py, etc.
I would have loved to try it. I guess I'll wait until an actual 'stable' or at least working version is out.

The "no url" bug has been reported to the devs, looks like more *buntu users are experiencing this error. Looks like this came up with the latest release of pyLoad.
However I can confirm that pyLoad is running smooth on my Karmic machine, maybe you should check your configuration file.

Like I said, I've tried 3 different versions, none working so I think there's nothing wrong at my end, especially when there are some clear misspelling errors :)
