Play classic NES game Winter Games online - Time Waster

Have you been watching any sporting events on TV lately? An old friend tweeted me tonight feeling nostalgic about the hours (and hours, and hours) we used to spend playing Epyx's Winter Games on my old Commodore 64.
While you can find ROMs for Commodore 64 games online, there are only a few online-playable C64 games, and I haven't been able to find Winter Games.
However, if you're nostalgic for Winter Games like we were, this Java-based classic Nintendo version might at least scratch your itch. The NES console wasn't capable of frame rates or graphics that were as good as the C64, and there are only 4 events (what, no ski jump!?), but if you want to get into the winter games spirit, it's good for a laugh.

All of the games from Nintendo8 come from VirtualNES (you can tell that if you look at the loading screen at the beginning). That site has a lot more games than Ninendo8... like Super Mario Bros, Kirby, etc. and they're all the original, in the same Java applet.

No, it isn't the emulator, the controls actually are that horrible.

You are kidding, right? This was one of the worst games ever! Nice article, Jason.
