Already went back to 3.5.7 so my extensions would work. Too many were disabled for 3.6.
This is my single biggest complaint about FF, and the only reason I rarely upgrade. Most times, I wait a few weeks to see that my extensions have been updated, and then I download the new FF.

i've done the same but i have seldom had this issue with past updates. perhaps you are unaware that many of your extensions, though disabled by the upgrade, can be made to work
install mr tech's toolkit, then right click on disabled extensions and select "make compatible". many will then be fine, but alas, some still may not.
