Personally, I think this is brilliant. It solves the frog in the pot problem. For instance, if you wear undershirts everyday you get accustomed to the white as it slowly turns more dingy. Then, before you know it, you show up to work one day looking disgusting. I just don't see a downside to scheduled replacement of essentials.
