Take that, geotarding! Slacker Radio now available in Canada

After months of detailed (and no doubt painfully boring) discussions involving copyright issues, Slacker Radio is now on the air in Canada!
The news was announced today in an official post on the Slacker website. In addition to accessing Slacker via the web, mobile options are also now available to my Canuck brethren - Blackberry and Android apps are ready to rock, and the iPhone version is coming soon. There's also the slick mini player which allows you to listen to Slacker on your desktop PC outside your browser.
Slacker is an excellent service, and I'd put it on par with my current streaming audio service of choice, Grooveshark. Slacker is priced competitively as well: $47.99 annually or $4.99 per month.
A 7-day trial of the pro service is free, but you'll need to provide credit card info up front. Just make sure you cancel before day 8, or you'll be billed for the month.

All they need to do is bring it to Europe, the UK and Australia/NZ.

Lee, you totally just gained some cred, with me at least :) Thornley rules and is unfortunately, one of the best kept secrets in rock. Very cool to see it shown here. Oh yeah, I love slacker too, it rocks my android constantly.
