Download Glary Utilities Pro for free - today only!

Giveaway of the Day has done it again! The other day they were offering up Driver Magician Pro for free, and today they've gone one better. Until the end of the day, GOTD is providing a free download of Glary Utilities Pro - one of my favorite multi-purpose system maintenance programs.
I've mentioned Glary Utilities before. On top of the cleanup, tune-up, and repair options the free version provides, Glary Pro also handles scheduled maintenance jobs and automatic updates. It's a great, hands-free way to keep your system running smoothly.
As with Driver Magician, the download contains two executable files -- the installer and an activator. Run the installer first, then run the activator.
The activator doesn't do anything shady like install a toolbar or alter your default search engine, but it will open a GOTD web page once activation has completed. It's a small price to pay compared to the $39.95 you'd normally cough up for Glary Pro.
Download Glary Utilities Pro from GOTD now - you've got less than 20 hours to get in on the action!

Question about things like this from GOTD: Many products, like this, require an "activation" to allow them to work. Does the activator only work for today, or can it work later as well?
From what I'm reading, it will only work for today... this is rather annoying, because if I get used to a piece of software and like it, and then have to reinstall it for some reason, then I have to pay for it, right?
I'm not saying there's anything wrong with this... I just don't agree with it, myself. I simply don't want to get used to a piece of software, then find out that I have to buy it later.
Secondly, it may not be as big of a deal for software like this, but what about something like backup software, or partitioning software (which they have provided in the past on GOTD)? If you have backups from a particular software, and your system dies/crashes, won't you have to buy the software to get your data back? Or, if you are repartitioning a new drive, you can't use that software except for today... even if you have it installed on an older drive?
Again, I'm not trying to make GOTD sound bad... just trying to understand the process there a little better... and seeing problems with it (for me, at least).

@Schwinn - Last time I looked at GOTD, you were required to activate during the 24 hour giveaway period. Since you cannot activate again after the 24 hour period ends, if you get a new computer, upgrade your drive, wipe and reinstall, etc... you lose the application.
That's one of the many restrictions of these "free" applications. You typically don't get upgrade pricing eligibility or support either.
As you say, nothing inherently wrong with it as long as you understand what you are getting into.

That's what I suspected. Makes backup utilities pretty useless!
Thanks for the info!

I may not agree with you totally. I just downloaded the free verision from that day's giveaway. It contains a activation key in the downloaded compressed files, and I don't have to pay for it even I get used to this software. For Glary Utilities, we can trust it either for free version or paid version since it has been highly commended by millions of the worldwide users and many world renowned download sites, such as

@Schwinn - Yes the activator works just for today, however if you run regedit and go to this key:
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\GlarySoft\Glary Utilities]
Choose "export", and save as a .reg file. It has the serial number in there.

Nice tool, NOT. Ran a scan, did the fix and the thing wiped my facebook page clean and removed my Google Toolbar from Firefox. WTF? I reinstalled Enhance My7. It may not do as thorough a job but at least it's not meddling where it doesn't belong

Is it possible to capture in-game screenshots with this app?
