Reply to Facebook comments by email

Today, Facebook announced a new feature sure to make us all a little lazier when it comes to social networking. Just like with status updates, you can now reply to Facebook comments by simply responding to the email.
It's simple. Someone leaves you a wall post or comment and you have it set up to get email notifications, all you have to do is hit 'Reply' and the contents of your email will be posted as a comment back. This cool new feature makes life so much easier, as you no longer have to go through the grueling process of opening a browser, typing www.facebook.com and finding the comment to reply to. Sheesh!
For some, this isn't just convenient - it's also necessary. Many companies and schools block or monitor website usage and for some, email may be the only way to interact with Facebook.
We're still waiting for the ability to respond to messages via email, but I'm sure that's on the way too.

Facebook is blocked by many filters so it is not lazziness which has many workers unable to reply.

That's a good point. I know a lot of schools and offices block Facebook so it could definitely be convenient for them too.
