I agree. I use a netbook with a 16gb SSD and a lightweight linux distro. No problems bringing a few movies or songs. Who needs their entire library with them?

Zintinio. To answer your question: DJ's are a perfect example of 'who needs their entire library with them'. Sorry, I'm just picking on you. DJ's are about the only example I can think of. Plus most DJ's carry an external HD with them.
SSD's or Solid State Drives storage capacity's are growing larger at an astounding rate. Compared to conventional HHD's SSD's are the way to go if you are mobile. No moving parts to get damaged while moving your device? I'll trade less HD space for durability any day!
