Potion Panic: lob alchemical concoctions at nasty beasties - Time Waster

This is a Time-Waster, if you didn't realise yet -- and it's actually Potion Panic 2, the sequel to its fairly-successful predecessor.

The premise is simple: craft potions using three different 'ingredients' in varying quantities, throw them at the mobs slowly plodding towards your wall, and buy upgrades.

The mechanics themselves are very simple and not designed to be challenging; this is more of a fun romp. The element of 'panic' comes from trying to dispatch all of the beasts -- of which there are many -- before they get to your wall and dispatch your crazily-bearded, canon-toting alchemical mastermind.

Each kind of beast has a specific weakness or immunity, so you have to concoct different destructive elixirs depending on what's swarming towards you. Don't worry though -- you can save a few recipes and switching between them isn't too tricky.

Most of the fun comes from the potions themselves. There's a surprisingly large number of combinations: you have three colors and space for five 'pellets' of any color -- in some cases, just adding more of one color makes it 'more fiery', but there are some very special combinations too, if you can find them!

I'll tell you my favourite, to get you started: 3 red, 2 yellow -- fire a few into the enemy. Then switch a yellow out for 3 red, 1 yellow, 1 blue. Prepare to be amazed.

Potion Panic 2 is definitely well-worth 10 or 20 minutes of your time, or maybe even a little bit more. By the way, I never did hit that 'Air Strike' button that you see on the left -- if anyone has the courage to try it out do let me know what it does.
