Twitter down, reportedly hacked by "Iranian Cyber Army"
THIS SITE HAS BEEN HACKED BY IRANIAN CYBER ARMY
iRANiAN.CYBER.ARMY@GMAIL.COM
U.S.A. Think They Controlling And Managing Internet By Their Access, But THey Don't, We Control And Manage Internet By Our Power, So Do Not Try To Stimulation Iranian Peoples To....
NOW WHICH COUNTRY IN EMBARGO LIST? IRAN? USA?
WE PUSH THEM IN EMBARGO LIST
Take Care.
No word from Twitter yet, but the entire Twitter.com domain seems to have been taken offline. status.twitter.com and blog.twitter.com are down, too. There have been reports that Twitter.com was resolving to a parking page from a hosting service, but we haven't seen any screenshots of that.
Meanwhile, TechCrunch has screenshots of the message from the Iranian Cyber Army.
UPDATE: Twitter.com is now back up. So is status.twitter.com, which has an hour-old post saying "We are working to recovery from an unplanned downtime and will update more as we learn the cause of this outage."

These people are quite foolish if they honestly believe that they "control" the internet, or that the United States controls the internet. Foolish hackers if they weren't so stupid I might feel sorry for their homeland that needs to get into the 17th century and get rid of monarchies. Especially ones so half-assed as Irans. But that is my opinion

The hackers might not even be Iranian. We don't know anything yet.

@eggbrook
Shut the hell up, these hackers might not even be iranian. Anyone could have set up a message like that to blame the iranians. And even if it was an iranian hacker group, SO WHAT? If it had been a hacker group from a different country, would you have said the same stuff? Sadly you're just as half-assed, maybe even more. So pull your head out of your a**.

One of the biggest question here is, If this group so called (ICA) Iranian Cyber Army are just hiding in the name of Iran so them (as the real culprit) will have a free-pass
Nauseatingly, status.twitter is down also, didn't this scenario happened last August too, wherein all was pinpointed to a Blogger in Georgia?

well , this team writes a message ,
But this message is not on considered from of all the Iranian people.
Perhaps this group would work for the F****** government.
MimzyDec 18th 2009 10:16AM
This is EXTREMELY ironic given that Twitter helped Iranians get the news out about their disputed election this past summer.

What's with all the obscenities on this site? You are owned by AOL, but lately it seems you've been pwn'ed by AOL'ers.

What obscenities? Are you talking about in the comments section? What that fuck is wrong with you that you don't understand the difference between the story and the comments? Get a life.
