Amazon lets you stream some videos with purchase of DVD or Blu-Ray disc
Amazon is rolling out a new service called Disc+ On Demand that lets you instantly begin watching some video titles after you purchase the movie or TV show on DVD or Blu-Ray. In other words, you get the benefit of having a physical disc that you can watch on a dedicated player and take with you wherever you go. But you can also start watching the movie right away.
Amazon's Video on Demand service is available for Windows and Mac computers, as well as some TVs and set-top boxes from Roku, Panasonic, Sony, Samsung, and TiVo.
Right now only about 300 titles are included in the offer. That's a fraction of a percent of all the movies that Amazon sells. But it's a start.

Glad to see Amazon are starting to roll this out.
P.s What is up with those really annoying flash adverts on this site? Everytime I click on an article to read further, that fucking flash advert starts.

So, now I can buy a DVD/blu-ray as a gift for someone and keep the download for myself? Sweet.
