The thing is, while you are adding strangers as friends e.g. for Mafia Wars or Farmville there is an option to move this "friend" straight to Limited Profile or other limited Friend List. But it does not work. You'll have to go to Friends submenu and then reenlist them to limited list. It's a bug.

Hehe, I don't think anyone's arguing that security ISN'T available, just that most people don't leverage it.
I mean, this is as basic as it gets -- there's no point having friends-only profile data if 40% of people accept friend requests... there's simply nothing more Facebook can do at that stage.
We just have to be more discerning :)
