Windows 7 will (officially) work in Apple's Boot Camp before 2010
Intrepid Boot Camp users have found ways to run Windows 7 on their Macs, but Apple hasn't officially supported their efforts thus far. With the release of Windows 7 today, Apple has announced official Boot Camp support is on the way, and plans to release an update before the end of the year. The update may be Snow Leopard only, however, and won't work on some older Intel Macs. As MacRumors notes, there are already alternative ways to run Windows 7 on a Mac. You can go the virtual machine route with Parallels which supports 32-bit Windows 7, or wait a week for the newest version of VMWare Fusion, which will support 32-bit and 64-bit versions of the OS.

Windows 7 works great with the new iMac's as well with the existing bootcamp. However, its a bit sneaky on the install. Many users are claiming "black screen"s during the install (or just after) when using Windows 7 with boot camp. Secret is -- the mini DisplayPort is taking control of the "main screen" after a certain point in the install. You MUST have a secondary display connected using the iMac's mini DisplayPort to complete and then switch the display back over to the iMac's built in display. Once you have done that, its all working perfectly!

I've had Windows 7 on my unibody MacBook Pro for like 6 months. I don't have any problems except multitouch on the trackpad is a little wonky and the thing gets hot but part of that is because Boot Camp only has access to the 9600M and not the cooler 9400M video card.

I've had Windows 7 installed on my iMac for quite a while now. I just used Bootcamp as is, put in the disc, told Bootcamp I was installing Vista, and away it went. Works perfectly. :-)

VirtualBox also supports Windows 7 in 32 and 64 bit mode since the very early beta stages. And it's free !
