Danny DeVito is a little late to Twitter

Just a year ago Twitter still belonged to the geeks and a small army of fake "social media experts" so new only a few of them had been removed from their original plastic packaging. Now Twitter is the plaything of A through Z-list celebrities clamoring to validate their position in the universe. And then there was The Danny DeVito.
Frankly, Danny DeVito doesn't need your foolish Twitter to validate his worth. With a career spanning four decades, he still has his finger on the pulse of edge comedy and angsty twenty-something movies. Nevertheless, he's recently begun twatering, or whatever you hip kids are calling it.
So what's he doing on Twitter? The same thing everyone else does; serving up inane, navel-gazing commentary on his day to day adventures. He's not particularly prolific, but he is quite poignant. In his very first tweet, he alerted the public that his testicles were, "on fire." Information like that -- offered in real-time -- is what the Interwebs are all about.
In case you've forgotten just how much fun DeVito can be, take the jump to watch his five drunk minutes on The View -- also known, rather uncoincidentally, as the best five minutes The View has ever broadcast.

Grant RobertsonSep 7th 2009 2:41PM
The real relevance to DLS? I totally couldn't resist making that Photoshop.

I was a bit disappointed there, I though you meant The View as in Dundee (Scotland) band that I doubt most people have never heard of. It would have been funny hearing Danny Devito slate them. (Yes im from Dundee and no im not a View fan).

So, the whole point of the article is that it's not news that Danny DeVito is on twitter, and it's not news?
So you expect me to read something about something that specifically states that it does not matter?
Yep, another hard hitting news story from Grant.
"The real relevance to DLS? I totally couldn't resist making that Photoshop."
Ah, Grant just wanted to use DownloadSquad as his personal blog again.
*sigh*

If you were expecting hard hitting news coverage on a U.S. holiday, you've been sadly mistaken.

Wow, for someone who seems to have analized humor in all it's facets, you would think that the sarcastic use of "Hard Hitting" would be understood, but alas no.
So yes, I was not expecting anything "Hard HItting", just something better (which in this case, would include not posting anything) than a "I wanted to show everyone how funny I was with Photoshop" post.

Oh, I also do so love a post that starts "You're sick of hearing about it, and so am I.".
A: You don't know if I am sick of hearing it, and
B: If you are sick of hearing it, why did you bother posting it?

OOH a Grant Roberson post, I hope another one of those big fights start.
