Maybe you won't have the chance to get pumped and show off your gold RTM DVD like Steve Ballmer, but if you've got a TechNet/MSDN subscription your downloads are finally ready.

Looks like the servers are pretty bogged down with the news. With this, Twitter, Facebook, and LiveJournal all suffering, I'm afraid that the internets may soon be dead.

Downloaded, installed, and activated. Works amazingly. Like, if put to gunpoint and forced to never again touch a Windows alternative, I'd be okay with using Windows 7.

Technet subscriptions have some varying levels, but basically with the entry subscription, you are permitted to download and install a single copy of most MS items. It is still considered an evaluation version, but it doesn't have a time expiry

If you purchase a TechNet or MSDN membership then yes you will have access to download Windows 7 RTM. As a TechNet+ / MSDN+ subscriber you will receive 10 keys for Windows 7.
