Opera 10 beta 2 web browser released for Windows, Mac, and Linux
The folks behind the Opera web browser continue their march toward Opera 10 today with the release of Opera 10 beta 2. The latest version of the browser includes a ton of bug fixes and a number of tweaks including:
I also noticed another nifty feature today. I have no idea how long Opera has been able to do this, but I discovered when I was trying to create the screenshot at the top of this post that Opera 10 beta 2 will automatically resize images when you resize the browser window. This makes it easy to fit an entire web page into your browser without the need to scroll left and right no matter what size the window is.
- A "Synchronize Opera" button in the speed dial page
- A context menu to reload images in high quality
- Password manager with context-menu support
- Speed dial can have a custom favicon
- The Windows, OS X, and Linux skins have been updated

Heh, somehow this is the first time I noticed it, although it's not the first time I've used the browser by a long shot. Nice feature.

I totally understand you.
Opera has many not-widely-known features, sometimes a bit hidden though...
If you do check the link I provided, it'll give some insight for sure.
Cheers

maybe when you start talking about the features, more people can at least make be just a bit less ignorant what little beauty it is afterall Opera.
I just started using its email client + gmail + imap again (used to be very buggy back in the days) god! it beats outlook by the distance to moon.

Best new feature: Ability to hide the menu bar and now finally access it through a popup button like every other system.

Don't know if my FF 3.5, is slower than it should be, but I was just doing some back to back testing with this at rendering pages, and it's crazy fast. Plus the default interface is much nicer looking - c'mon Mozilla get some good designers!
