Flickr My Background keeps your Twitter background fresh
Flickr recently introduced a service that lets users quickly post a Flickr photo to Twitter. That's very convenient, but what if you want to do more than tweet a link to the photo? Flickr My Background automatically sets your latest Flickr photo as your Twitter background image, updated every hour.
Setup is pretty minimal: just put in your Twitter username and password, and approve the app on Flickr, and you'll be good to go. I could see this being a problem for folks who use their Flickr accounts as basic image hosting instead of an actual photography showcase. If photos are your business or a major hobby, though, this looks like a very easy way to show off your work and keep your Twitter background fresh at the same time.

Is there a way to do this with Picasa Web Albums?

This does not yet work for me. I still have the blue and boring background from Twitter. Cool idea though!
