Hulu begins rolling out ABC shows
Online video site Hulu has begun adding content from TV network ABC to its site. Hulu and ABC's parent company Disney announced a partnership deal back in April, but today is the first day you can actually find ABC content on Hulu... just not very much of it.
Hulu is starting with Grey's Anatomy, and has plans to roll out other shows including Desperate Housewives, Ugly Betty, Scrubs, and I Survived a Japanese Game Show over the next few weeks. Sure, it'd be nice if all this stuff were available on day one, but it's summertime and there aren't as many new episodes of existing shows to add to the site, so I can see why Hulu would want to drag things out a bit.
Now if only the company could snag some CBS and CW content...

You spelled "Desperate" incorrectly.
But this is awesome. Hulu is the greatest.

Looks like this is only available on via the hulu.com website... couldn't find full episodes of Grey's on from the hulu desktop app - searching only shows interviews of cast members from other sources.

They have every single episode of Lost from Seasons 1-4 and the 5 last episodes of Lost from Season 5. Damn.

It's about time. Hulu has been my only source of TV since February -- when my state made the full switch to digital TV (the signal wasn't strong enough to reach my rural area, like the analog signal used to do).
The more shows on Hulu, the better.
One question, though. Why have a "hulu desktop app"? Isn't this redundant? I guess I don't see the need for a separate application when the browser plays the videos just fine, even at full screen. Or is there some added functionality?

I prefer the desktop app since it allows me to surf from the couch, and easily use a harmony remote instead of a keyboard and mouse.

Couldn't the lack of new episodes during the summer be a greater reason to rush things since people could seek online sources for entertainment?

about freakin' time. The ABC player sucked butt and only worked properly with IE for me.

You want content from CW? Does anyone actually watch that network?
