My inbox is very messy because label assignment is too much work, so i like this feature. Thanks Google!

If label assignment is 'too much work' then you REALLY need to discover the keyboard shortcuts!
You click on whichever emails you want to label, then you'd be able to type either 'L' or 'V' to Label (L) or Move (V), then it brings up a label list & you simply type in the label's name.
It's amazing, you REALLY need to turn on the Keyboard Shortcut function!!

Thanks for the tip. I'm aware of the shortcuts in Gmail since it's advertised all the time but short keying in a browser is still a weird concept for me and I have no idea why. But your right, I love working efficiently, so this will have to come in handy for me!
