Microsoft Australia re-words Ten Grand is Buried Here page, more LOLs ensue

Oh man. Some day, Microsoft will get this contest right.
That day is not going to be today, it would appear.
In a response to all the hullabaloo the other day, they've retooled the landing page at Ten Grand is Buried Here. Now instead of telling you to "get lost" if you've got another browser, the page now reads as follows:
And what, people using other browsers can't follow that Twitter user and see the updates? That would be cool. Can I block Camino users from viewing my Twitter updates? Just kidding, of course. I don't actually hate any web browser - scout's honor.
I know I'm taking the new lines too literally, but come on. If you're going to take out the snark, why leave yourselves open to more prodding? I'm not mad at you, Microsoft Australia. I just thought your implication was kind of funny.
You know, funny like TechCrunch calling IStartedSomething a "Microsoft Blog." Last time I checked, our pal Long Zheng was looking for someone to sponsor his hosting (by the way - if you can help out, please do!). I really doubt that would be a problem if Microsoft was footing his bills.

Microsoft announces its Twitter cloned named 'Ballmer'
Software giant announced today its own version of the popular micro-blogging social web site Twitter. Nearly a perfect clone of the popular service, Microsoft's version is called "Ballmer", in omage to the company CEO. While Twitter asks its users "What are you doing", the Ballmer micro-blogging site asks "What are you doing for me?" next to an animated imaged of Steve Ballmer face.
Like Twitter, Ballmer allows people to up date their status in short text messages of 140 characters, but only from either Windows IE8 or Windows Mobile 6.5 phones. Any attempt to use Ballmer on non-Microsoft phones or browsers will result in garbled text - intentionally and by design.
When asked why this Windows only product restriction was put in place, a Microsoft spokeswoman said "If you aren't using IE8 or Windows Mobile 6.5, no one cares what you are doing."
A follow-up question if the now notorious give-a-way contest being run by Microsoft Australia, where people are forced to use IE8, and IE8 *only*, in a treasure hunt for $10,000 cash, would be part of Ballmer was met with a "No comment" response.
Ballmer is downloaded at Bing.com, uses IE8 with Windows Vista or higher, or using a Windows Mobile phone. Several hundred restrictions apply, offer limited to North AMerica residents who access the internet via ISP's who use Windows Server 2005 or higher. Status updates made with Ballmer will include Digital Rights Management encryption.

LOL's at this article or the contest? Not really. I just see a company trying to get people to use their browser. What's the 'hullabaloo' about that?
@Todd: This just in, your a douche.
