Jay, thank you for the kind words! We really appreciate you taking the time reviewing what we've done.
Tomek, yes, in a way we could replace what people might be using a private Google Group for. Hopefully we've made it at least 10 times simpler though and more secure. For example, I don't believe if I had a Google Group conversation with my coworkers about a password or upload a sensitive file, that any of that would be encrypted with SSL. Furthermore, with an email certificate and a little setup, I can easily send and receive encrypted emails with my group. So I get the benefit of using a web hosted software service (archive, search, crm capabilities) without losing the security of keeping prying eyes out of my emails.
