Microsoft launches Netflix for Windows Vista Media Center
People have been hacking together ways to watch streaming videos from Netflix using Windows Media Center since early last year. But now Microsoft and Netflix have rolled out an official Netflix application for Windows Vista Media Center.
In other words, Netflix subscribers can browse through the 12,000 streaming titles available in the Netflix "watch instantly" library and watch them from the comfort of a couch using Microsoft's 10 foot interface and a media center remote control.
Users can also manage their DVD rental queue from Windows Media Center. The feature is powered by Microsoft Silverlight, so you'll need to have that installed on your media center system. It won't work with Media Center Extenders, but you can continue to stream movies via an Xbox 360 if you have an Xbox LIVE Gold membership.

In April I bought a new computer from Best Buy. They told me all computers now have Vista. Why Microsoft ever took XP away I will never know. I hate Vista so now how do I get this Windows 7?

What's wrong with Vista Grace? For home use I find Vista Ultimate 64 to be great for my needs. Mostly media and mild gaming.
Don't fear change...and don't believe everything a Best Buy employee tells you ;)

Because Vista was the second most abominable thing Microsoft ever put out for an OS as far as compatibility and usability...first being Windows Millenium but history repeats itself. I have 5 machines in my home 3 of which run Windows 7 BETA's and have run far faster and better than Vista. No constant crashes due to hardware incompatibility. There's just this "something" about 7 that feels and looks better. Let's put it this way 7 is what Vista was SUPPOSED to be but wasn't. They just spit shine the turd that was a very BASIC alpha release of Windows 7 and slapped it on shelves.
