Office 2010 technical preview leaks on torrent trackers

Who wants to wait until July 1st to try out Microsoft Office 2010? Heck, even if you do want to wait and register your name, you still might not be chosen as a tester.
Fortunately, your friends at the Internet have got your back once again. Yes, the Office 2010 technical preview - like every build of Windows 7 that ends with an odd or even number (or zero) has been leaked to torrent trackers.
This time, Wzor.net didn't just share screenshots of the leaked apps, they've actually provided links to the torrent files themselves.
I don't mean to sound like a broken record, but remember: if you do decide to download the leaked ISOs, make sure you take the necessary precautions. No, that doesn't mean putting on your tin foil hat.
Thanks, Sandip!
update (5/16/09 7:17 ET): screenshots coming up after the break - stay tuned!

I begin to wonder if these leaks aren't intentional. Kinda like a demo.

I doubt these leaks are intentional. Microsoft already distribute private betas to industry professionals and writers. These people provide the press coverage of upcoming releases. They also seed private betas to key customers and other testers for feedback.
Leaks of private betas are of little value for Microsoft because these users cannot contribute feedback back to Microsoft because they are not part of the private beta program and are unlikely to give balance and broad coverage that a professional writer gives. At most, they will take dozens of screenshots and maybe a little commentary of a specific feature they love or hate.

Does it require a key? How long is it good for?

Hey Lee, where can we find said links? Wzort.net seems to be offline/doesn't exist.

Malt, some quick searching brings these up:

Yeah, Lee seems to have corrected it because the original post said Wzort :)

Wow, there's a lot of Microsoft loving in those picture captions.
And you completely glossed over these:
- The UI is overexposed. Tone it down like Office 07.
- Large graphical guides instead of simple and efficient dialog boxes? Somebody wake up the Cairo team!
- If Office integrates Live Writer, why don't I just download LW and not upgrade?
Those captions sound like they were copy-pasted from a press release.

I seem to have a nasty habit of writing positive comments when I enjoy using a piece of software - regardless of who makes it.
Copypasta? Not on my dinner table.

Wow, this Office is fast, liking it alot!
AndrewNoNumbersMay 16th 2009 11:13PM
And how long do these last?

Lee - 1, Karl - 0
Loving the new version... installed it while I was at the Honda dealership this morning and the businessman next to me asked me about it after installing it I un-plugged my external HD (where it was downloaded to) and let him grab it. Good stuff.

Wait, why is the OK button on the right side?
JCTechMay 18th 2009 12:34PM
I have been testing this in our labs for compatibility. Anyone running legacy exchange 2000 will not be able to use this version of Outlook. Apparently Exchange 2000 is not supported by this version. Just thought everyone might like to know.

Yay at the 13 Screenshots... Please tell us this is because they skipped that number from their versioning rather than just a simple casuality.
I cannot wait though for someone else coming up with an Office13 package (or even website)!
