Windows 7 box art leaks, fails to impress

Sure, we found out yesterday that Microsoft expects to ship Windows 7 in time for the holidays. But when a number of web sites started posting pictures of the rumored Windows7 retail packaging, I was dubious. "Looks too much like the Windows Vista packaging," I thought, and moved on.

But today they're looking a bit more real. Blogger Long Zheng discovered that the images have also appeared on a private Facebook group for Microsoft employees. While it's possible that the box art is just a concept for now, it does appear that these images are from Microsoft, not some guy in Poland with free time on his hands and a copy of Photoshop.

Still looks an awful lot like the Windows Vista packaging though.
