Transfer files from your iPod with Pod to Mac
Getting songs from your computer to your iPod is a pretty simple affair. After all, that's what iTunes is for. When you want to go the other way, though, and get the songs back from your iPod to your hard drive, Pod to Mac is one option. And, with features like search and video preview, and compatibility with iPod Touches and iPhones, it looks like a pretty good one.Pod to Mac is still in the early stages of its development, but it supports stuff like transferring playlists, previewing tracks and videos, and showing track ratings from within the app. It's not just for music, either: you can also use it to transfer images from your iPod. I know it's called Pod to Mac, but Windows users shouldn't despair: there's also a Pod to PC from the same developer.

Can any program take a Mac-formatted iPod and rip its content to a PC? That's the biggest headache I've been having with my brother's content.

Senuti started charging some time ago and I've been looking for a decent replacement since. I hope this is it, I don't like 'we're suddenly charging for formerly freeware' bait & switch developers.

...Or you could just avoid buying draconian crap like an iPod in the first place.

I was looking for a similar software but I couldn't find one. I mean a free one that should work on all iPod and iPhone models. So, I guess that this apps remains the only one that can be called "free" and I disagree that even now it's " in the early stages of its development". I guess that moment has gone now since Beta Version 10 has been released and a final release should appear soon. You can download Pod to Mac here :

You should be able to download latest versions for Pod to Mac since this page has always been updated.
