Did your system already have an early build of IE8, or was it an IE7 machine?

ie8 messed up windows sidebar on my vista ultimate machine. i quickly removed it and all is now back to normal. it's ridiculous they release this thing in this state.

The sidebar on my Vista 32-bit laptop is running normal. No issues so far with the new IE8 downloaded this morning.
