Get Easeus Partition Manager Pro free today only

The free edition is great, but until 11:59pm today, you can get your hands the professional edtion for free as well, thanks to Easeus and MakeTechEasier. Professional Edition adds support for 64-bit Windows systems and the option to create a bootable CD or DVD.
Don't be too sad if you miss out - the free version runs just fine on 32-bit systems, and since EPM runs in Windows the lack of a boot CD won't be a problem unless something catastrophic occurs. I've used Easeus extensively and never had a single problem that wasn't my fault.
Head over to MTE for the download link and details.
Update: the site seems to be a tad overworked at present...be patient, and hopefully you'll get through soon!

Is there anything this can do that gParted can't?
peorthcelticFeb 27th 2009 9:44AM
Work with Windows apparently...
PeterFeb 27th 2009 10:15AM
gParted works with Windows, it just doesn't work from within Windows.
I wouldn't repartition a system from within Windows anyway, but that's just me being cautious.

It took me a couple of tries, and having Firefox remember the login password, but its worth it :)
I just wish it was the edition that works with Server 2003 :( I used it a while back and it was so painless. It is, by far, the BEST windows partitioner.

yea this is completely down for me...was anyone able to snag it/mirror?
richard.gaileyFeb 27th 2009 12:18PM
Forbidden
You don't have permission to access /download-easeus-partition-master-for-free-24-hours-only/2009/02/27 on this server.
Additionally, a 403 Forbidden error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
Maybe they have ceased the offer already?

I'm unable to extract the zip using 7zip on Windows 7. Any solutions?
MichaelFeb 27th 2009 12:39PM
Why is the link to the site giving me a 404 error?
BillFeb 27th 2009 6:36PM
First two times I got partial files.....11MB and 16MB, but the 3rd try was correct and got all 36.8MB/s
I've used the free version to shrink C drive and use unallocated space....let me warn you to definitely have backups of any thing needed and don't try partition work on your only, main computer unless you are experienced at reinstalling in case something goes wrong. You must read and follow directions very carefully to work with partitions.

Easeus killed my laptops mbr (I've so far been unable to repair) when I was trying to make space for a Win7 install, but YMMV.

I tried to download it several times without success. The offer has now expired.
It reminds me of bait and switch promotions. A very good price for something, but they're sold out and there are no rain checks.
Lee MathewsFeb 28th 2009 10:57AM
The offer was hardly "bait and switch." Based on the traffic we saw because of this post, I'd say that both MakeTechEasier and Easeus had trouble keeping up with things yesterday.
It was generous enough of them to give it away to everyone that DID have success. They make a great product, and it was a nice gesture to the community.
Now, it's back to business as usual. They've still got to turn a profit, right?
