10 Firefox themes that don't suck

I've gotten several comments since I started writing for DownloadSquad from readers that want to know what Firefox theme I'm running in my screenshots. Since I had some spare time on my hands, I decided it was time to put together a selection of my favorites to share.
Before anyone says "hey, there are eleven screens in the gallery," I counted the light/dark variation of one theme as a single option.
There are plenty of great themes out there for Firefox - these are just a few that I particularly enjoy using. Have a look through the gallery, and feel free to share your favorites in the comments!

What happened to NOIA 2.0 Extreme?
Very simple and frankly, the best theme.

It's all subjective. Noia is too cartoony for me...

Why the hell is GrApple not on here? It's the absolute best theme there is. Period.

Regarding this gallery I come to conclusion that FF-Themes are either blue or gray or gray with blue. Are there othr colors in universe?

I am also upset that the Nasa Lightlaunch theme didn't make it.
Also, I like the screenshot of the luminight theme, but it's not available for linux :(
Why is a theme, which is basically css+images, platform specific?

Nice list. But how could you put Scribilies in the list?!!? It does suck.
BTW, I love Chromifox. Its the one I use....

I am a fan of Classic Compact, gives me so much screen real estate, and paired with Tiny Menu, it creates even more.

@27: Obviously the "RGB- Model": Rust-Gray-Black

Can't believe it was mentioned only 2 times so far - THE best simple and compact theme - Classic Compact. Combined with Classic Compact Options there is nothing else when it comes to screen real estate usability, and it for sure won't suck at all...

I like Winstripe Modern... Firefox 1.5 on 3.x FTW! Check it out if you're the old school type.

Winestripe is by far the best one out there. It makes FF2 not look like shit (of course, FF3 needs it even more badly than FF2). That's what I use. I'm actually kind of surprised it's not included in those.

Are you kidding? Out of all the fun and interesting themes available for Firefox, you've chosen the most boring 10 themes ever.As others mentioned,PIMPZILLA is awesome,as is NOIA Extreme,as well as Redshift,OldFactory Black,Walnut.....too many to mention. If you want themes that look like IE why not use it?
fabFeb 17th 2009 4:04AM
hm...am i the only one who thinks that naver is the best one? the others are like toyish or somehow cluttered..
now a dark or blue colored naver would be fantastic.

Redshift, ftw!
