Edit Google Docs Spreadsheets on your iPhone
Up until now, the interface has really only be a handy way to view your files on the go. Now, however, you'll be able to perform simple edits on your spreadsheets right from your handset. iPhone, iPod Touch, G1, and Nokia S60 users can all get in on the action.
You won't have access to the same breadth of options as you do in the desktop version, but that's to be expected. It's still incredibly useful for doing quick edits on the go or maintaining simple lists directly in your gDocs from your mobile.
While other document types still can't be edited yet, they may not be far behind.

I now know that when the headline says something works on the iPhone, that it will work on my G1 as well.

This kind of thing makes me sad that there's no functionality like this for Windows Mobile phones or Blackberry.
On the other hand if we could MMS or tether to the iPhone, it would be the perfect phone.

It works well enough, but there's no easy way to sync the document without being in bluetooth range of the computer you're syncing with. Plus Google docs allows sharing/collaboration on the spreadsheets.
Granted those features are only necessary 5-10% of the time, but they're really nice to have when you need them on the go.

They just changed this where you cannot shrink the wording down or navigate around the page. If you have a cell with more than a few characters of data in it you cannot see all of the data. Didn't used to do this. Any suggestions?
