Google rolls out mobile tasks for iPod, Android
It's only been two months since tasks first appeared on GMail, but the team wasn't content to stop there.Last night, Google rolled out a new mobile version of Tasks designed to allow users of the iPod Touch/iPhone and Android devices to manage their tasks on the go.
The interface is elegantly simple, allowing you to quickly add tasks and notes, and mark items complete.
While tasks you indent from your desktop in GMail display correctly, there's no way to indent a task from your handset just yet.
As an added bonus, you can also now view your task list from any cell phone, as long as it sports an XHTML-compliant web browser.
Don't bother checking gmail.com/tasks from your desktop browser unless you're just after more information - you'll be redirected to the "Tasks in Labs" page.

Now if Google only made Gmail to look and act like other free emails (but leave the great features obviously...)
I'd switch from Yahoo to Google for everything!

The only difference I know of in gmails "look and act" is the parts that make it gMail. What exactly is the problem with it?

I sincerely hope it doesn't, since I vastly prefer Gmail's look to Live Mail or Yahoo Mail. But for your sake, I hope Gmail will expand and open up their theming options.

It works just fine on my Treo as well. Although having both a notes and tasks application on the phone already, this seems rather redundant. Unless you're so forgetful you need additional reminders. Don't these other phones already have such things too?

Going there will enable you to ad tasks to your iGoogle page. I have been looking fot that, but not found it before.
