The Downloadsquad Windows 7 rundown

With no specific time given for working downloads, eager testers began hammering MS web servers at the crack of dawn and worked them like a rented mule. Later on, direct links to the ISO files surfaced, and people were off and downloading.

Up and running on windows 7. I really like how smooth it is. I had some installation issues and could not do a clean install, I had to upgrade from vista.
Also I am running 32 bit , I really wanted to try out the 64bit but I later learned that you MUST HAVE 64BIT VISTA ALREADY(which sucks). but seriously Microsoft once again has another fantastic OS.
The "True" successor to windows XP.
All my hardware seems to work great, I want to get rid of itunes garbage but the uninstaller is jammed at 55% that's the only problem I have so far.
I was really surprised to see Fallout 3 work flawlessly at MAX settings but with no AA just in case, but at 1920x1200 AA isn't all that important.
I haven't used windows media player since XP, this one I truly like, it can be small ,compact and useful when I need it to be, not the best player but better than Media Player classic in codec packs IMO. I have a lot of time on my hands these days, if anyone has any questions about anything in Windows 7 feel free to ask.

What graphics card are you using? And can UAC recognize classes of actions ... eg: installing progs, unzipping files .... thanks!

I upgraded from Vista. So far, I've only encountered a few bugs.
Pros:
Battery life increased on my 17" Inspiron about 20%
The UI is a refined version of Vista and very nice.
The new program bar is excellent, IMHO.
The UAC is way less annoying
So far, all of my major apps still work with no additional driver downloads.
Detects new hardware very fast
Home networking is auto encrypted
Cons/bugs
Upgrade time was almost 3 hours
Explorer unable to log into ftp as a network location
sprint broadband card software not yet compatible (even after running the new compatablity app)
flickr uploader locks up
Tthats all I've found so far. All and all, it looks to be all the things Vista should have been.
Explorer seems to have problems connecting to ftp sites.
