Windows 7 Beta ISO leaked on torrent trackers

The ISO appears to contain the Windows 7 M1 build (7000) highlighted by Paul Thurrott on SuperSite. So far the new build seems to perform slightly better than 6801, and memory usage has been improved. A number of previously hidden features - like the iconized task bar - are also now active.
Before comments start asking why there's no link to the file, it's because this is something that we're not supposed to have yet. If you want to get your hands on it, check your favorite torrent search site. Also keep in mind that this is a leak, and there's always the possibility that the ISO has been tampered with.

Awesome. And within a couple weeks, the public beta keys will be available, well before the 30 days is up on the activation.

i dont know if anyone can help me with this, but i want to know if i am already on 7 build 6801 and want to upgrade to 7000 (whether it be through the leaked iso or by waiting for the beta) i already have a valid key so that is not an issue, but what i'm worried about is if i have to format this partition over to upgrade for what seems to be only a few bug fixes.

Beta's aren't intended to be used besides testing purposes. You will need to reinstall to get the latest version.

It looks all nice and dandy, but I just wish that the taskbar was slimmer. I'm really into the slim taskbars that you can find in custom visual styles, but this one seems bigger than the one on Vista.
I'm still eager to download this though. I'm just afraid that it would ruin my already virus-attacked computer.

The Wallpaper for those of us who aren't interested in recent builds but the newest wallpapers... anyone know where that one might be?

Fryed Oats, to get the slimmer task bar, right click task bar, choose properties and choose 'small icons'. If you want the task bar to act like windows XP, choose 'ungroup tasks' and viola, nice slim, familiar looking task bar!

You only *think* you want it. What I want is the Google OS. Anything but MS.

I can't get any sound in MSVPC using this beta, does anyone else have this problem?
I've tried the suggestions here, without any luck (http://www.w7forums.com/no-sound-windows-7-t53.html)
Apart from that, this build does seem much more polished than 6801.
