Azureus/Vuze has always been able to download any torrent. It never required payment for downloads, and it has always allowed users to keep the classic Azureus interface.

It did at one point "upgrade" from the old interface to the new one (use of sneer-quotes most certainly intentional) without telling you as part of a "routine" software update. I had to troll the net for a few minutes before I found out what this Vuze garbage was that had replaced my normal software with barely a "by your leave". Easy enough to fix, but it was a mistake on their part at the time. That's why I downloaded the 4.0 installer but haven't run it yet -- I don't want to hose my working program, since I use it almost every day to get TV shows as they're released...
