I'm guessing it's more or less Microsoft's version of a lightweight OS for basic functionality like web browsing and doing stuff online. Maybe even a Word processor. Most likely, it'll include Windows Live apps (Wave 3 is pretty good!) by default, but the whole OS is probably optimized for cloud computing and web browsing in general.
Most likely an OS for netbooks, UMPC's, that sort of thing. Not sure, but that's what I'd guess. I hope it's really good. I don't think Windows 7 will be scrapped of course, Windows Cloud is probably one of those specialized OS's, most likely cheap or free. I'm curious.
