Digg is about the humor found in the comments first and foremost, then its function as a news portal. I am a huge fan of anyone who opens up their tech, but by "going geek" Reddit still doesn't get the "funny first" concept.

Don't know what you're talking about, because I find the reddit comments much funnier and I hardly spend time on Digg anymore
