SproutCore gets huge buzz ahead of MobileMe launch
Since it was revealed that Apple's recently-announced .mac replacement, MobileMe, was partially built on something called SproutCore, the buzz around this hot new JavaScript framework has been growing. Although this is the first that many people will have heard about it, SproutCore has actually been around for a while, powering services like .mac's Mobile Galleries. Now it's getting so much attention that SproutCore.com has been unreachable all day, a week after the WWDC announcement. So, why SproutCore? Daniel Eran Dilger, over at RoughlyDrafted, has a great rundown of things to love about this open source JavaScript framework: it will allow developers to build web apps that look more like desktop apps, function offline, and take advantage of modern browser features. Apple's using SproutCore to build a front end for WebDav and its own WebObjects, but other developments could easily add PHP, JSON or XML data to the mix, to name a few.

What's the difference between this and Objective-J (280slides.com)? What's better?

hands down 280 slides is a much better piece of technology than sproutcore.. I looked at sproutcore and it is a huge sucker for space and memory.. damn.. .mac gallery is slow as hell, and if you tell me that is powered by sproutcore than I wont touch it with a 12 feet pole! SproutCore sucks!

I was not off the mark as to how much SproutCore sucks Shit! Look at how well it is performing in MobileMe right now.. Yes sure Charles Jolley can up with the most fucking retarded excuses, but hands down it is the shittiest framework I have seen!
