Will be delayed by years and years of laws suits, influence peddling by Microsoft paid lobbyists and metric tonnes of FUD from Steve Ballmer. Its recommended to all to become familiar with Moblin, their approach to making the switch, what tools you need. There's nothing stopping you from getting a cool little Atom Netbook for 200 bucks, and over-writing XP with Remix.
We all be surprised how easy, lightweight and cheap our computing will be with just a Remix Netbook and an iPhone or Gphone. Ditch that giant lappy, donate your outmoded desktop Goodwill, and break free.
