Fancast snags full length Colbert Report, Daily Show episodes
Comcast-owned media portal Fancast has announced that it will soon have full length streaming episodes of The Daily Show, The Colbert Report, and South Park. Up until now, if you wanted to get your Daily Show or Colbert Report fixes online, you had to check out clips with segments from the shows on their official websites, or hunt through YouTube. Fancast will be the first site we're aware of that will let you watch episodes from start to finish.
Comcast introduced Fancast last fall. At the time it was more of an IMDB style site with information about movies, TV shows and actors, directors, and other artists. But over the last half year, Fancast has added a decent selection of streaming movies, TV shows, and clips through partnerships with CBS, Hulu, and other media distributors.

IFilm already lets you watch full episodes from Colbert and Daily Show.

South Park's official website has been steaming full episodes for a while now, and the awesome segment search on the Daily Show/Colbert Report website more than makes up for the fact that they weren't continuous episodes.
Comedy Central has actually done a really nice job of putting those shows online.

I dunno, Colbert at least is usually pretty topical (I haven't watched Stewart since college; he's just not funny anymore) so I'd rather see yesterday's whole show than a bunch of clips of stuff that made sense a month ago.
That's why I always torrent them =-)

One feature that Fancast promised when it launched was the ability to control your STB, or at least schedule recordings, from the web site. There has been no news on that since. But once I've put in all my favorites and rated a few shows, it does make great recommendations.
