I use the Firefox Add-on "IE View" if I find a site that really must use Microsoft Internet Explorer to view it correctly. The rendered pages of the chosen location (that can be set so that they always open in "IE View") are viewed within a tab in Firefox embedded in an IExplore object control.

You can even use another Browser, such as Maxthon, as the surrogate MS-IE executable.
