"Don't send us previous posts from your own blog!"
I assume you've seen this! Probably some poor souls duly applying what was effective in some schools.
"Witty and sarcastic a plus"
Mmmh! IMHO I would make that a condition. The IT world is serious enough.
BTW, the keyboard you've chosen to illustrate this post goes well along of few others I have seen here, laden with a generous serving of typing errors. I guess, that would be another condition down the list ;-)

XellMay 11th 2008 4:25PM
I can't imagine why not, but are people outside of the US able to apply?
Grant RobertsonMay 11th 2008 7:44PM
@xell Absolutely.

What is the age requirement for this job? I assume legal working age of course, which to my knowledge is 17 here in South Carolina. I ask of course, because I am 17, but would love to become one of the few, the proud, the bold...the Squaders!
Grant RobertsonMay 11th 2008 10:41PM
Sorry, all our bloggers must be 18. House rules. Come back and talk to us in a few months, please!

Should I expect some kind of confirmation email? I submitted my application yesterday but there doesn't appear to be any kind of auto-responder or intern-powered reply?!
asurrocaMay 15th 2008 12:04AM
Sent in my app. I'm guessing you want people who will write more than one post in a blue moon, right? I mean, someone needs to give Brad a break. The poor guy is a one-man Download Squad lately!
Martin YoungMay 17th 2008 5:12PM
