Adjust Windows behavior with XNeat Windows Manager

XNeat Windows Manager is a nifty little shell utility for WIndows XP and Vista that adds a few extra options to your taskbar, toolbar, and right-click context menus. For example, you can click on the toolbar of any window and set it to always display on top of other windows, minimize the window to the system tray, or hide a window from view entirely. You can also change the window's transparency level and behavior, or alter the priority of the window or the running process.
You can also use XNeat to change the appearance of your Windows taskbar by hiding elements like the start menu or the clock. You can even change the taskbar transparency/opaqueness level so that you can see through the taskbar to your desktop when it's not in focus.
These features are just the tip of the iceberg. There are so many things you can do with XNeat that the developers haven't even bothered to list them all on the product website.

There's another utility that does this, more and better:

Sounds like XNeat consolidates Power Menu and Taskbar Shuffle, two of my favorite utilities. (Almost suspiciously similar, in fact.) Though it seems to have some extra plugins on the side?
Torn between keeping two of my favorite all-time small utilities or installing this and giving them up. :(

Really great utility. Just installed and it works like a charm.
The only gaffe was one on my part. Like a curious idiot I sent the taskbar to the tray after removing all the "Trayed Windows" options from all the menus! Good thing I still had the Settings Window open so I could add the "Trayed Windows" option to the Hot Menu, get it back and prevent me from doing that again.
Thank you Download Squad for bringing this to us and for introducing me to one more blog I'll be keeping my eye on!

I already have other programs managing my transparency and I feared this'd mess it up, but it works well... =]

I've not tried this, but have been using powermenu for ages and highly recommend it!

I was eager when I met this piece of soft (giving up to my old friendy, stable, simple Taskbar Shuffle), but after using XNeat for about a month I was very dissapointed as it can't work properly without internet connection (even it's impossible to install without the net conection). Of course, I am most of the time connected, but what when I am not? (i.e. with my laptop). This is enough for me to go back to that stable Taskbar Shuffle and do some search and trying some different for functions as Make on Top, Send to Tray, and so on.
