I started out with Mandrake Linux, but I dumped it due to some hardware issues. Later, I gave SUSE a try and I loved it. I've tried Ubuntu, PCLinuxOS, RedHat, and others. I go back to Suse everytime. Nothing wrong with these distros, but I spent a lot of time finding information about configuring openSUSE. I don't really have the time to invest for other distros.

The new interface is a lot cleaner and better organized.
