Xoopit adds pretty picture previews to Gmail
The basic concept is that your email inbox is a more useful social networking tool than Facebook, MySpace, or other services, but web-based email clients generally don't present the same kind of tools for sorting through your rich media content that you can find on the other sites.
The Xoopit plugin is currently available for Firefox 1.5 and newer, and works with Gmail only. In the future, Xoopit plans to add support for Yahoo! Mail, Hotmail, AOL Mail and other services. Xoopit is in private beta,

Well I signed up... I think they named it wrong... it should be stoopit instead of xoopit... this is useless for anyone who isn't a 13 year old girl and does not do anything but slow gmail down by showing pictures I don't care to see.

Standards or no standards, servers get compromised all the time. You don't really expect people to give you their passwords do you? Look at Remember the Milk, they have plug-ins that work in/with gmail but don't ask for the password.
I think you guys need to rethink this and get back to us.

Question #3: Do you store a copy of my email?
