and tell me what would happen if microsoft bought yahoo and got rid of all these good stuff!
messenger for mac doesnt have any cool features what so ever
mac users would be stuck

Well usually, when companies buy companies, they usually keep the good stuff going. Don't they?

Why would they buy Y! only to make their services worse than before? MS would lose money and users that way.

You could use an alternative, or if you feel that programs for Macs aren't good enough for you, try finding a different OS.
