Hopefully the young'ns developing this platform will realize not everyone is immersed up to their necks in social media sites and they don't want to take the time to tell the platform which email gets priority. They just want to get their email as they have been.

Build in the ability to disable what you don't want as well as enable applications to be developed for it and you will have a winner.
