Get Pocket Informant 2007 for free: 2 days only

- The X button at the top of a screen doesn't close a window, it just minimizes it.
- The calendar/contacts/notes applications are horrible.
Pocket Informant has long been one of our favorites, but the latest version costs a whopping $35. Sure, it's worth it, but if you're on a budget, you might look at the price tag, look at your Smartphone and decide the built-in calendar isn't that bad.
But Jan 4th and 5th you can get Pocket Informant for free. The makers of Pocket Informant have partnered online PDA software retailer MobiHand to give away free copies of the software for the next two days. Just use the code PIFREE at checkout to get your free copy. Be forewarned, when we tried to download the application this morning, MobiHand's site was performing very slowly, but slow and steady wins the race. We were able to download and register Pocket Informant 7. The software should work with all Windows Mobile 2003 and newer devices.

either the site don't work, or my company is blocking access to the scripts/shopping cart functionality. clicking on add to cart does nothing, requesting download link by email I click on it and it still does nothing... or have they run out?

I can't add the app to my cart. I can add everything else though...

They say PIFREE isn't a valid coupon code

Not working here either - add to cart does nothing. Wonder if it's limited to US based customers.

Worked for me! Great stuff! Unfortunately the GUI is a bit too small and slow for my tastes :/

Got it working, but man what a crappy program. Screens are miniscule and overcrowded. I'm glad this was free or I would be ticked.

I couldn't add it to my shopping cart when I was using IE7, but I had no problem when using Firefox. Also, make sure you type "PIFREE" in caps. When I first did it in lower case I got the not a valid coupon code.

Worked, but good thing its free because I'm not sure I'd drop 35 on this.

My mistake, you must go to Mobihands site to get it to work, not from the link higher up for www.pocketinformant.com
Hope that helps people.

This is only free if you don't consider SMS Spam annoying. I used the "SMS me a link" option and have been receiving 1-2 SMS spam messages ever since. Ok product, terribly annoying results.

Thank you very much for the post and link. After now a few days using it I found it to be a great piece of programming. It is another reason why the Windows Mobile OS is just the beginning, the foundation upon which such smart application can grow up.
I'll have no afterthoughts paying something down the road for the next update.
