FTC clears DoubleClick acquisition
The ordeal is finally over, DoubleClick is now officially part of Google.
Illegal gambling fines
Google, with Yahoo and Microsoft have to dish out $31.5M for illegal gambling ads that appeared on their sites. Microsoft got hit hard with $21M, Yahoo with $7.5M, and Google with $3M.
Security not the biggest concern with Streetview
Despite the buzz about security in Streetview, the majority of complaints logged about Streetview are that it is not being available in their city.
Trojans in text ads
Seems like some Google text ad codes get replaced with high risk Trojan infected ones on select infected computers.

OSX widget security
Google has encountered a little problem with the Gmail, Blogger and Search History widgets on OSX that makes them a little vulnerable to security risks. Fixes are available here.
