i have a Motorola Q9m on Verizon that is running WM6. im new to the whole smartphone thing (just got it before christmas) so how long does it typically take these carriers to roll out updates like this? cause all those updates mentioned are complaints i had had with the phone and will be add additions (threaded SMS, copy & paste, set my own homepage, new homescreens).

and i dont really want to buy any third party apps either before anyone suggest it.....free options are fine though.
