yeah no kidding. why wont any Linux Distro recognize my Linksys WMP54G? Ubuntu without internet is next to useless. (as are all operating systems now)

Exactly. I've been trying to confuge Ubuntu to recognize my notebook's wireless card for quite a while now and I'm really frustrated. In fact, none of Linux distros was capable of doing that and I've tried a whole bunch of them. And this is all considering the fact that I have pretty new HP laptop with basic Intel 345BG (as far as I remember) card on it.
