Chat Noir - Time Waster
Chat Noir is one of those games that looks really easy until you actually play it. You know, like chess. OK, maybe not like chess, but still, we dare you to beat this Flash game on your first try. Or your tenth. The rules are pretty simple. Try to prevent the cat from leaving the board. All you have to do is click a bright green spot to make it dark green and fence the cat in. Every time you click a spot, the cat gets to move one space.
After wasting about half of the morning, we can now definitively tell you that the game is beatable.

3 played, 3 won, then stopped. Nice, though, maybe because I adore cats :-D
Set up a loose chain (every other dot) at the fringes, then plug holes to stop da kitteh escaping. When you have a full corral, box it in.

1st try, used the outside row only, and I suspect it would be unbeatable - too many options.
2nd try & several more in a row, blocked him in.
I believe the key is NOT to think like chess (several moves ahead) - but to plan a wall a couple of spaces in front of him, and mark it every SECOND space - if he goes towards it, you can fill in the empty space - if he moves away, you start a wall a few spaces from him, over there.
I was able to block him in very quickly this way, every time.
HOWEVER, it does depend on the 'random' placement of the default black spots. On about the 8th try, I got a very spread-out selection, and failed ( :< ).
So USE THE DEFAULT SPOTS to plan your walls, and you'll do well!

Third time - get in! Sadly (in all senses of the word) no soon as I had completed the game, my plan to save a screenshot as proof was foiled as the board reset itself. Dammit!
